Danica and Jamie first Love Island couple to split as shes caught kissing TOWIE star

Danica Taylor and Jamie Allen have become the first Love Island couple to split after she was caught kissing The Only Way Is Essex star Roman Hackett.

The pictures emerged on Tuesday 30th August, and now a source has told MailOnline: "Danica and Jamie have gone their separate ways.

"They didn't make their relationship official but have decided that they didn't quite work together romantically.

"Jamie has just signed for a new football team and Danica is busy pursuing endless opportunities after leaving the Love Island villa and they sadly drifted apart.

"They're good friends still and will continue to support each other in everything they do."

Despite Danica being spotted kissing Roman from TOWIE, a source also told MailOnline that they are just friends.

Danica and Jamie met on this year's series of Love Island after Danica struggled to find love in the villa.

Jamie was one of four bombshells to enter the villa just before the final.

Immediately hitting it off, the pair displayed a connection. However, their time on the show was cut short after being dumped from the island following a public vote.

Previously speaking about what attracted him to Danica Jamie exclusively told OK!: "Firstly, for me, was the physical attraction, that’s the first box that has to be ticked and that’s obviously there.

"The second thing is the confidence, when you look at Danica, she’s confident and fiery, but then she’s got the other side to her, the softer and more sensitive side.

"And then when I met her, the first conversation we could tell we were bouncing off each other – laughing and joking about silly stuff."

The footballer, who previously played for FC Halifax Town, recently took to Instagram to announce that he's signed with football club AFC Telford United.
