Gogglebox’s Lee Riley and his pal Jenny Newby have sparked a frenzy amongst viewers tonight after they addressed claims that the former looks just like Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer. The hilarious duo got onto the subject during this evening’s episode of the Channel 4 show when the Goggleboxers were reviewing the week’s TV highlights.
One of the biggest moments showed an angry pub landlord telling Sir Keir to “get out of my pub” due to his objection to the coronavirus lockdown.
Lee then turned to Jenny and said: “People think I look like Keir Starmer.”
“I know they do,” Jenny admitted.
Lee exclaimed: “Imagine getting chucked out of pubs!”
He then revealed he doesn’t understand why people have been comparing him to the politician.
“I can’t see it,” he explained.
However, Jenny disagreed and exclaimed: “Oh, I can!”
“What, Keir Starmer? Lee replied, in shock.
Jenny then couldn’t resist cheekily mocking her friend and Gogglebox co-star.
She cheekily quipped: “Yeah, you just haven’t got his brains, but you look like him!
“You could be his lookalike, you wouldn’t get in the pub,” Jenny giggled, as Lee joined her in fits of laughter.
Fans rushed to Twitter to comment on Jenny and Lee addressing the Sir Keir comparisons on the show.

A fifth exclaimed: “Omg Lee really does look like Keir. Why has it taken Jenny pointing it out to realise that #gogglebox.”

However, another viewer disagreed with the comparisons.
They hit back: “His friends need glasses.
“Lee from #Gogglebox looks nothing like Keir Starmer.”
