Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski ‘growing close for weeks’ before snog

Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski have been "growing close for weeks" before they were spotted sharing a snog in Tokyo, according to a source.

Fans went wild over the weekend as Harry, 29, was seen locking lips with Emily, 31, after a performance in the capital of Japan.

Photos and videos showed the seemingly-loved up pair together for the first time after one of Harry's Love On Tour shows.

But it's now been revealed that the pair have secretly been seeing each other "for weeks," with a source claiming it was only a matter of time before their romance would come to light.

A source told The Sun that the duo "aren’t hiding anything" and "are enjoying getting to know each other."

They continued: "Getting filmed kissing in Tokyo and then that footage being shared with the world wasn’t what either of them expected – but they aren’t hiding anything.

"Harry and Emily have been getting to know each other for some time now.

"They spent some time together out of the public eye this year and are just enjoying each other’s company when they can while Harry is on tour.”

OK! has approached Harry and Emily's representatives for comment.

Emily separated from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard last September when the couple called it quits one year after they welcomed their son, Sylvester Apollo.

Meanwhile, Harry parted ways from film director Olivia Wilde, 39, when they ended their romance in November after almost two years together.

Mum of one Emily attended one of Harry's concerts last July in Paris, as she was seen dancing with Olivia.

Back in December last year, Emily spoke of being an "independent woman" following her split from Sebastian.

“I was defiant because so many people told me not to get it," she said of joining dating app Raya.

"A lot of people message me like, ‘Why are you on here?’ and I’m like, ‘No, I’m a woman, I’m a free, independent single woman.’"

In the months since, she's rumoured to have had a handful of romances and was previously spotted on dates with Pete Davidson.
