Helen Skelton stuns in a bikini as she soaks up heatwave on holiday to Yorkshire

Helen Skelton certainly made the most of the Bank Holiday heatwave as she put on a bikini and headed to a beach with her family.

The TV presenter, 36, soaked up the sunshine in her tropical print two-piece and shared a picture of herself with her followers.

She wrote in the caption: "Feeling like the stars have aligned because the sun came out for some UK beach time."

The mum-of-two is currently on a staycation in Staithes, near Whitby, Yorkshire with her husband Richie Myler, 29, and two kids Ernie, four, and Louis, two.

Helen, who is best known for hosting Blue Peter from 2008 until 2014, showed off her toned abs in the bikini and sported a floppy hat to protect herself from the 32 degrees heat.

In another family snap the proud mum also posed alongside her two young sons.

They didn't seem to want to stand still for the picture as they tried to play with their mum.

She wrote in the caption: "I thought we would have a cute photo by the sea. They thought they would rugby tackle me into the water. True story."
