Holly Willoughby: ‘He took a photo’ This Morning star in awkward moment with husband Dan

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby, 38, appeared on Michael McIntyre’s show to take part in his humorous game Send To All last year. During this, the comedian scrolled through her personal pictures on her mobile phone on a big screen in front of a live audience. He soon discovered a picture of a yellow-wrapped tampon which stood out amongst a pile of sweets. Baffled by the discovery, Michael asked Holly: “What’s going on here, Hol?”

The presenter swiftly put her head in her hands in embarrassment before explaining the mishap.

She revealed: “So this picture… my husband went down the stairs last night to go and get some sweets out of our kid’s sweet cupboard.

“We have a very lovely lady who comes in and cleans for us sometimes… she emptied my hand bag… in there was some sweets for the kids and also possibly a tampon.”

Holly’s admission prompted the audience to laugh, before she added: “And obviously she thought… so my husband took a photo and sent me it going, ‘Darling, I’m not sure this should be in the sweet cupboard’.”

Michael replied: “Alright, well that is very awkward.”

Holly has been married to Dan Baldwin, a television producer, since 2007.

The pair have three children together; Harry, Chester and Belle.

Earlier this month, Holly revealed she is “excited” to be teaming up with him for a new television project.

The blonde beauty announced she will be appearing on Bradley Walsh’s ITV show Late Night Guestlist, in which her husband is the executive producer.

“We are really excited to be teaming up with Brad again,” she told Female First.

“After the huge success of Breaking Dad on ITV, we are going to emulate that with this brilliant entertainment show.

“You will see Brad at his very best, entertaining huge A-list stars and the audience, both at home and in the studio.”

Holly recently took to Instagram to announce her appearance on the show, insisting there will be some “chaos”.

She uploaded a selfie on her way to the show in view of her five million followers with the caption: “On my way to @bradderswalsh new show… what’s this all about then?… let the chaos commence!”

Bradley Walsh’s Late Night Guest List airs tonight on ITV at 9.15pm.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.
