Hollywood A-listers sing karaoke ahead of Oscars
Kate Hudson put on a show by performing Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time” at talent agency CAA’s pre-Oscar party at hot Hollywood members club San Vicente Bungalows.
Rumer Willis rocked the party with a version of Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), and “Westworld” star James Marsden and his musician girlfriend Edei, real name Emma Deigman, performed “Up Where We Belong.”
The karaoke kicked off inside the exclusive venue’s screening room, with stars getting on stage to sing with the backing of a full band.
However, despite pleas from other partygoers, Rami Malek shyly declined to perform “Bohemian Rhapsody,” even though he won a Best Actor Oscar in 2019 for his performance as Freddie Mercury in the movie of the same name as the song, a source told Page Six.
Meanwhile, downstairs at the club’s patio and garden, stars including Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Salma Hayek, Ava DuVernay, Jeremy Renner, Natalie Portman, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Jennifer Lopez with Alex Rodriguez, Dwyane Wade, Eiza González, Sacha Baron Cohen and Olivia Wilde were treated a performance by Swedish pop star Lykke Li.
