Bobby was married to Trudi for 10 years before their marriage fell apart in 2003.

Bobby revealed that his reason for making the move back to the family home was motivated by his love for his three daughters.

‘I have myself, my ex, my partner and my three daughters, but I care for them all deeply,’ he said in an interview with Emma Pryer for the Sunday People at the time.
‘I am happy but, yes, my personal situation can be tough at times.’
The 80s star insisted that he would not be getting back together with his former wife, but revealed that Vicky ‘can sometimes feel hurt which breaks my heart but I am not stringing her along’.
Bobby’s former marriage with Trudi ended when he discovered that she had been cheating on him with a married builder, who returned to his wife.
The TV star claimed that he and his ex-wife are more like ‘a close brother and sister now’, adding that he sees Trudi as his ‘soulmate’ and that he will always love her.
But there were practical reasons behind the move, as he also didn’t want to be paying two mortgages when he was coming back to visit his daughters so often.
Bobby sunk into a deep depression after discovering the affair, and took three years to get over the failed marriage.
