Dame Joan Collins, 90, grew up in a starry household as the daughter of talent manager Joseph Collins who would often host his A-List clients at their Maida Vale home in London.
On one occasion Joseph entertained a young Roger Moore much to the delight of his teenage daughter Joan who was immediately infatuated with the actor.
Speaking on her experience with the male leads of yesteryear, Joan recalled: “The stars were always they were gentlemen. Then all of them. They dressed properly.
“They treated you properly. They were wonderful. You know, Robert Wagner was one of the first stars that I met.
“We did a test together. And we’re still friends to this day. And he was always such a gentleman. I really liked him,” she added.

However, nobody came close to James Bond actor Roger with his classic leading man good looks.
Joan continued: “Of course, Roger Moore, who I met when I was 14, my father was his agent.
“And so I met him in the library of our home and he was like the best-looking man I’ve ever seen.
“He just said, ‘How do you do? I’m Roger Moore’ and I said, ‘Of course you are’.”
