Kendall Jenner Wore a Grinchy Green Dress On a Boat
She's fully nude in her latest campaign for Jacquemus, but Kendall Jenner is very much dressed in her new Instagram post.
Like so many other of her A-list pals, Jenner is cruising away from any troubles on a boat right now. And just like her pals, she's opting for a bold neon look, but unlike just about everyone else on a boat right now, Jenner opted out of easy, breezy resort wear and chose to pose in a bright green gown that was equal parts Grinchy and Martha May Whovier.
The particular shade of green and fuzzy details along the deep-V collar and hips do bring to mind everyone's favorite reformed holiday villain, while the bombshell, floor-grazing silhouette is just glam enough to temper any Jim Carrey references and turn the look towards Christine Baranski's iconic portrayal of Whoville's leading lady. When Jenner's fans finish taking in the dress, there's plenty more to see behind her, including blue water, fluffy clouds, and striking, postcard-ready cliffs.
Jenner's retina-searing gown comes after enough tiny thong swimwear to stage her very own fashion poolside show. Jenner has also been using the summer season and her Instagram feed to feature her 818 tequila brand and letting her legal team handle a suit from Liu Jo, an Italian brand that is seeking $1.8 million after claiming that Jenner skipped out on two campaign shoots.
A spokesperson for Jenner's modeling agency explained that COVID safety protocols and travel restrictions kept Jenner from making it to the shoots, but that she was happy to reschedule.
"This suit is without merit. The Society Management, on behalf of Ms. Kendall Jenner, has continually offered Liu Jo alternative dates and locations to fulfill an agreement that was forced to be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic," a statement reads. "Jenner has willingly offered to complete services honoring her commitments."
