Loose Womens Denise Welch hits out at Strictly dance-off result
Strictly: Adam and Luba’s in the dance-off
Loose Women star Denise Welch has taken aim at the Strictly Come Dancing judges after Adam Thomas became the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the contest.
Tonight’s show saw Adam and his pro partner Luba Mushtuk go up against Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington in a dance-off in a bid to impress the judges.
But despite Anton calling the dance-off the “closest one” so far this series, all four judges opted to save Angela and Kai.
And the decision to send the Waterloo Road star home hasn’t gone down well with some – especially Loose Women panellist Denise.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, the former Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks actress made her feelings known on the decision – and she didn’t hold back.

Denise wasn’t the only one to vent over Adam’s exit, with hundreds of other disgruntled fans left flocking to the platform to air their dismay.
One furious fan remarked: “I’m sorry, but Adam ate Angela up in the dance-off. He was so much better. Robbed!”
Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Sorry, but everyone could see Adam performed much better in the dance-off. This feels so wrong.”

While a third added: “Have to say on the dance-off, it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. I think, once again, this judgement was based on popularity.”
When asked by host Tess Daly about his time on Strictly, an emotional Adam praised his “incredible” time on the show and revealed he had joined for his children.
“What a bunch to be on this journey with, I’m just very, very lucky,” he said. “I know my kids are at home now probably crying, it’s okay – daddy’s okay!
“I just wanted to teach my kids that it’s not just about winning or losing, it’s about taking part and doing your best. [To Luba] I just want to say thank you to this one and I’m sorry, I wanted to get us to Blackpool!”
Luba could be heard holding back her tears as she responded:”Don’t be sorry, you are incredible, I had the best season.”
She added: “Just to get to know you, your family and kids, it’s been much more than just a dance show. You’re the winner of my heart forever and it’s better than a trophy.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One from 6:30pm.
