Demi Jones has shared an update on her ongoing thyroid cancer battle.
The 23 year old shared that she was diagnosed with the cancer back in May this year and has since been sharing intimate details about her treatment while urging her 1.2 million followers to get checked at the slightest sign.
Now, the former Love Islander has exclusively told OK! Online that she has just received another round of treatment and is waiting several months before checking if it has been successful.
Speaking on the red carpet of the TRIC Awards, which is in partnership with OK!, she said: "I recently had some cancer treatment and it's going all good.
"I've got to wait another two months now to see if it's all come out of my body so I'm having a full body scan."
Demi explained that she's been in "high spirits" about it all and has consumed quite a few chocolates to get her though. She said: "I've put on a few pounds. I've been eating chocolates as my comfort eating."
The reality star then shared how women come up to her in supermarkets like Tesco to tell her "I've gone to the doctor because of you."
"My Nan keeps saying to me, 'Demi, you've probably saved someone's life.' So it's been amazing. If I can help people, I'll be okay," Demi told OK!.
"I think most women can see it is relatable if they've got cancer," she continued before sharing how "awful" it was for Sarah Harding before her tragic death.
Demi, who was recently treated to lavish gifts by her rumoured boyfriend, added that she hopes girls will look after themselves and get checked by the doctor.

Demi previously spoke about her cancer on Capital XTRA, where she explained she won't know if she’s cancer-free until the end of this year.
Asked how she is managing it, Demi replied: “Do you know what, I feel like if I didn't I would make myself ill.
“You've got to be positive-minded and you've got to be strong-minded to get yourself through it, otherwise you just wouldn't.

“You'd make yourself depressed,” the star went on.
"So I'm staying super positive and I've got some more treatment in September coming up and then hopefully by the end of the year I'll find out if I'm cancer-free.”
