Malin Andersson shares first picture of adorable baby daughter Xaya: Shes a beacon of light
Former Love Island star Malin Andersson took to Instagram today to share the first picture of her cute baby daughter, Xaya.
The reality star, 29, who was snapped looking happy soaking up the sun in Spain earlier this year, shared the sweet snap of six month old Xaya with her 735k followers.
The adorable tot is pictured in a garden wearing a sweet denim dress and cute summer hat. She shows off her gorgeous dark eyes as she looks straight at the camera.
Proud mum Malin captioned the snap: “Meet my baby, Xaya Sara St. Clair-Pierre..
"This was well over-due, she’s a beacon of light and I want the whole world to see how amazing she is.
"I just woke up, I have overwhelming love for this girl.. and I just wanted to share her with you all. I feel she’s ready to meet you all.”
Fans were quick to gush over the sweet snap with one writing: “What a gorgeous baby!! She looks a little like my newest little love Miley! Congratulations” followed by two red heart emojis.
A second fan shared: “Beautiful. Just like her mama xxx It’s so lovely malin I can sense a lot more lightness in your posts. You’ve come along way and overcome so much. You deserve every happiness and more”, followed by two red heart emojis.
While a third penned: “Hi Xaya you truly are a dream. Absolutely gorgeous”, followed by a heart eyes emoji and a red heart emoji.
The Love Island star's daughter is her second. She suffered heartbreak as her daughter Consy passed away after she was born seven weeks premature.
Just four weeks after Malin gave birth to Consy, she tragically passed away in 2019.
Malin took a break from social media following the birth of Xaya in February to take some time to enjoy her baby bubble in private.
Explaining her absence, she told her 745,000 follower in the caption: "Me and Jared have been in the most beautiful, surreal baby bubble and so I took a month out to just focus on our family.
"I ended up having an emergency c-section with her, they took her out of the same scar Consy came from.. that was a bittersweet experience for me which I needed to take in after.
"I can’t even describe the amount of love she has given us, and how it feels to be a mum again – but to a healthy baby. I look at her and I have to pinch myself..
"She’s the spit of her dad, and is covered in black thick hair (I’m jealous.)".
Malin added: "Thank-you for all of your messages, it’s been overwhelming – you guys have really followed my journey and I’m in awe of all of your support.”
Malin has since split from Xaya's dad Jared, with the pair co-parenting.
