Mariah Carey Reportedly Set To Perform At Brighton Pride For Six-Figure Sum

R&B superstar Mariah Carey is reportedly set to be the headliner for the 2020 Brighton Pride festival.

Carey would join the likes of Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue, who have performed at the event in previous years.

However, the singer’s set is expected to be relatively short at 45-minutes-long, even though she will reportedly be collecting a six-figure sum for the performance.

“Brighton Pride has set a precedent in the last few years for getting the biggest names, so securing Mariah is brilliant in proving they are one of the leading Pride events worldwide,” an insider shared with the U.K.’s The Sun.

To be held at Preston Park, Brighton between July 30 and August 2, the 3-day celebration of the LGBTQ+ community will also mark the 30th anniversary of the event that regularly highlights “campaigning, protest and a celebration of diversity.”

Brighton Pride has teamed up with Trans activist and artist Fox Fisher to curate the brand “Fabuloso” as the official theme of this year’s event.
