Meghan King Shares Excitement for Ex Jim Edmonds’ Possible Engagement Following Messy Divorce

The former ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ star shares that her first priority is her children, adding that all that matters is that her children are loved and supported.

AceShowbiz –Meghan King Edmonds has no hard feelings for ex-husband Jim Edmonds’ possible engagement to his girlfriend Kortnie O’Connor. In a new interview with Us Weekly, Meghan shared that her first priority is her children, and as long as it doesn’t badly affect her children, she would be fine.

“I would feel that stability for my children is what I care about the most,” so the 36-year-old shared to the news outlet. “So any kind of long-term committed relationship that Jim is in, I fully, fully support because that’s absolutely the best for my children.”

The former “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star added that all that matters is her children are loved and supported. “I was a stepmom and I’ve always been the school of thought that the more people to love children the better. And I don’t think that there’s a limited capacity for children to be able to be loved,” she explained.

“It’s not like they could only be loved by mommy and daddy. I don’t think that takes away my love for them if they’re going to love somebody else. So I think it’s great,” she continued.

Jim filed for divorce from King, with whom he shares a daughter Aspen and twin sons, Hart and Hayes together, in October 2019, after five years of marriage. They finalized their divorced in May of this year. “I feel the same as I did before it was finalized,” King shared. “I think it’s, like, an energetic closure, which is important, but I mean, I’ve been learning how to be independent ever since we separated, ever since the divorce was filed, and so that’s almost, I guess, a year and a half now.”

She went on to say, “So it just – it feels good. It feels good to put that behind me and just look to the future. I want to spend my life with a partner. I’m a loyal, monogamous individual. I’ve been having a lot of fun dating, but I’m really hoping to settle down and find that partner.”
