Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth ‘secretly broke up in July but kept it a secret’

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth allegedly parted ways in July, but kept their break-up a secret for weeks.

According to The Sun, the actor cancelled a trip to the UK to watch Miley perform at Glastonbury in June, with friends claiming this was when the pair’s marriage began to show its first cracks.

Insiders claim Liam’s absence upset Miley so much that she pulled out of a planned surprise set with Mark Ronson at the music festival.

Sources said: “She went with her side of the family, but Liam’s family cancelled flying over to support her from the side of the stage.

“The marriage was crumbling and it’s like Miley knew it was the end.

“She told the crowd that they didn’t know ‘the sacrifices’ she made to be at Glastonbury.

“Looking back, she could have been talking about her relationship.”

Following Glastonbury, the pair were only seen together once more in early July, with friends confirming they split for good a few days later.

Reports suggest the couple were forced to confirm their break-up after photos emerged of Miley kissing Kaitlynn Carter during a girls holiday in Italy.

It has since been claimed that Kaitlynn, 30, had joined Miley at Glastonbury too in a show of moral support to her gal pal when her husband didn’t show.

While Miley has been getting over her broken heart by gallivanting with her girlfriends in Lake Como, Liam has been spending time with his family at brother Chris’ house in Australia .
