Neighbours in uproar as Sheeran appears to use hay to keep pond secret
This is the last straw! Neighbours in uproar AGAIN as Ed Sheeran appears to use bales of hay to keep £500,000 swimming pond a secret
Ed Sheeran is using bales of hay to stop neighbours seeing the wildlife pond on his Suffolk estate they fear he is using as a swimming pool.
The pop superstar placed the fence around one side of the pool which was visible from the lane that runs alongside.
All other angles of it are hidden by a hedge.

It is the Shape Of You singer’s latest move to keep his £500,000 kidney-shaped pond a secret.
Neighbours complained this year that he was going to flout Suffolk Coastal District Council’s initial ban on him using it as a swimming pool.
They accused Ed, 28, of planning to use it to swim in with wife Cherry Seaborn and their friends after he won permission to build it on the understanding that it would provide a natural habitat for frogs, newts and dragonflies.

Although council chiefs approved the plans, they ruled that the site should not be put to other uses – and specifically forbade ‘recreational leisure such as swimming’.
Appealing the decision, the star had argued that he might be in breach of the condition when using a boat or getting in to clear branches or weeds, prompting the council to grant him permission.
The fence, built using support poles, consists of three bales on top of each other around two and a half metres high.

It seems to have been placed there to cover off an area where a wooden gate has been put in between an otherwise high hedge which is regularly walked past by dog walkers and hikers.
One local said: ‘It all seems very strange but in actual fact it appears to have been very carefully thought through.
‘The bales have been placed precisely in the right places and at the right angle to shield his pool.’

Ed is to hold a star-studded wedding party at the sprawling estate next month after he secretly wed Ms Seaborn at Christmas.
A-list guests including Adele and David Beckham are expected to attend.
The singer, worth an estimated £40 million, bought his first property there, a large modern detached farmhouse and surrounding land for £895,000 in June 2012.
He latterly bought two more houses for £1.5 million and has built a pub called The Lancaster Lock.
