Nicki Minaj’s Father Killed In Hit-and-Run Accident

Nicki Minaj‘s father Robert Maraj was killed in a hit-and-run accident in New York on Friday, February 12. He was 64 years old.

Maraj was struck by a vehicle while walking on a road in Mineola, New York, according to a press release from the Nassau County Police Department.

According to officials, Maraj was walking in the roadway on Roslyn Road at the intersection of Raff Avenue around 6 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle going north. The vehicle fled the scene of the accident and has not yet been identified.

Maraj was taken to nearby hospital in critical condition and died the following day.

Minaj has not yet made public comments about her father’s death.
