Norway's Princess Martha Louise Is In Love With An American Shaman/"Spiritual Hacker"
It always astounds me that we live in a world where there are people who won’t date a guy who’s under 5’9″ but people who call themselves “spiritual hackers” can be out here dating actual Princesses. It’s being reported that Norway’s Princess Martha Louise has revealed to the world that she is in love. And the guy she’s in love with is just your standard shaman who can age in reverse.
The Daily Mail says that 47-year-old Princess Martha Louise is in love, nearly three years after her divorce from her husband of 14 years Ari Behn was finalized. And it is something. Martha took to Instagram to let the world know about the new love of her life, a 44-year-old man named Durek Verrett who is an L.A.-based shaman and spiritual type.
How romantic, she put #boyfriend. Wow. Cute.
Durek is a self-described “spiritual guide and gifted healer” and a “sixth generation Shaman.” This shaman also claims that he can “reduce ageing” by using his “power” to “access the atoms” which make up the human body. So… he can make people age backwards with his magic power to control atoms? He’s the Benjamin Buttons of X-Men! Also Durek claims he can put clients in a “trance” which releases “poisons” from the body, and he’s also the real life Ghost Whisperer and can connect people with dead loved ones “on the other side.”
More points on his spiritual resume: he’s friends with the inventor of yoga, Gwyneth Paltrow, whom he’s called his “soul sister” and done interviews for Goop–and he’s really close with her since he called her new husband, Brad Falchuk, his “spirit brother”. He’s so close, I’m sure there’s a jade egg up stuffed up his ass right now.
Princess Martha is a big spiritual person and has done spiritual stuff like a trip to India in the past. But listen to this, back in 2007, people called on her to renounce the royal title after she planned to open a school training people how to–wait for it–communicate with “the angelic realm.”
