Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Just Signed a Huge Deal to Make Movies and TV Shows For Netflix

Hear ye! Hear ye! Special royal announcement coming straight to your fave streaming device: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially signed a deal with Netflix!

According to The New York Times, Meghan and Harry are working through their new production company, which is separate from their Archewell foundation and doesn’t have a name just yet. Reportedly, through this deal, Meghan and Harry will produce documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming. So, yeah, you could say they covered all their bases!

While I am personally holding out hope that they will compete on the next season of The Circle or portray their own characters in The Crown, it seems like their deal is more focused on producing content instead of starring in new projects. There is a bit of hope, though! According to NYT, they might show up in some of the documentary program.

To announce this exciting news, Meghan and Harry released a statement saying:

While we don’t know exactly how much they stand to make from this deal, it’s probably a significant amount judging by how much Netflix has dedicated to high-profile projects in the past. If history is any indication, Meghan and Harry may have already arranged to donate some of their earnings to charitable causes.
