Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding details revealed as reception set to be ‘held in Buckingham Palace garden’ and not inside
Princess Beatrice was given the blessing of The Queen to hold her wedding reception at Buckingham Palace following the ceremony at the Chapel Royal in St James' Palace.
The 31-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, will tie the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in May, but it's been speculated that the reception guests may not be allowed inside the palace residence during the event and remain outside in the gardens.
The Queen's granddaughter had accepted the offer of the lavish venue amidst the furore surrounding her father Prince Andrew, and it's been reported that the event will not be televised like royal weddings before her.
The Mail on Sunday wrote: "Princess Beatrice will be confined to her posh tent in the gardens of Buckingham Palace when she marries Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in May.
"Bea and Edo are due to wed at the 150-seat Chapel Royal, before a reception in the Palace gardens. But guests will not be allowed to enter the Palace itself – and the couple cannot even have official photos taken inside."
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on speculation of the finer details of Beatrice's big day.

They have asked guests to donate to the charity she founded called Big Change and Edoardo's Rwandan cricket foundation Cricket Builds Hope.
Ahead of the fast-approaching wedding date OK! Online consulted royal jewellery expert about which tiara Beatrice is likely to pick.
Grant Mobley, a royal gemologist believes the York tiara will be the top choice for Beatrice after Eugenie failed to wear it on her big day last year.
"I think the most likely choice for Beatrice is the York Tiara because it belongs to her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and it’s the tiara she wore on her wedding day," Grant said.
"Princess Eugenie didn’t wear it on her big day, and since Beatrice is the only other daughter, the chances of this being the tiara of choice are quite high."
