The Queen is said to be "extremely concerned" about how far Prince Harry will go into detail about the royal family in his tell-all book.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, has been getting everything down on paper over the past year and plans to share the "mistakes and lessons learned" during his life as part of the Royal family – as well as spilling the beans on his exit from it.
While Harry wants to reflect on "the highs and lows" he has faced so far and be "accurate and wholly truthful", royal author Duncan Larcombe says it is "jaw-dropping" that he is going ahead with the memoir following the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview with his wife Meghan Markle.
He added it is "really worrying" that the Duke thinks a memoir is a good idea.
Duncan also claimed "Harry will probably need to fawn over how wonderful she [the Queen] is" in the book.
"But that won't stop Her Majesty from being extremely concerned about how far her grandson is prepared to pull back the curtains on the royal goldfish bowl," he said.
Duncan went on to reveal how Harry's brother Prince William, 38, will respond to the news of his tell-all memoir following their reunion at their mother Diana's statue unveiling.
"He met up with William at the start of this month," he said of Harry. "He wasn't aware that Harry was nearly all the way through writing this tell-all book about him and his family.
"That that will not go down well with William because the Kensington Palace event was an olive branch."

Duncan added: "Harry couldn't get out of the country quick enough after it, and probably, now we know why."
In a statement issued on Monday, Harry announced his new book deal is with publisher Penguin Random House and said he will talk about his journey as to being the man "he has become".
He added: "I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
"I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I've learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first hand account of my life that's accurate and wholly truthful."
