Award winning DJ Steve Sutherland has died. The cause of his death is currently unknown.
The star hosted shows on Choice FM and Galaxy FM, which had a huge audience of listeners.
Steve was given the accolade of Best Club DJ by MOBO in 2000 and went on to win three other MOBO Awards during his life.
He was also nominated for a number of other awards spanning between 2001 and 2009.
BBC Radio 2 DJ Trevor Nelson was one of many who took to Twitter to pay tribute to Steve following the sad news of his death.

The star wrote: “Just heard the sad news of another great loss to British black music.
“Condolences to the Family of Steve Sutherland who I first met and worked with at the Kensington roof gardens 30 years ago. @TwiceasNiceUK r.i.p.”
The MOBO Awards’ official Twitter page also shared a heartfelt tribute to the star, which read: “We are deeply saddened to hear the news of DJ Steve Sutherland’s passing.
“His contribution to the Black British Music scene will never be forgotten.”
Singer Beverley Knight also opened up after Steve’s death and said she was feeling “gutted” and shared some memories she has of him.
She tweeted: “I am so gutted to hear of #SteveSutherland’s passing.
“The amount of times he’d get my to leave my house late in the evening to appear on his radio show ’It’s gotta be live Bev, no pre-record business!’(sic)
“A BRILLIANT, well loved DJ with an immense legacy. Gutted.”

Let Me hitmaker Donae’o also tweeted: “RIP Steve Sutherland. I can’t believe this this guy was one of the kindest hearted people I know.
“He was one of the first people to play and support my music when no one else would. This guy is a Legend May his memory be remembered forever.”
Alongside his iconic career as a DJ, Steve was also well known for his work in radio and television presenting.
He had interviewed legendary performers including Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys over the years.

His career on the decks spanned 20 years.
Fans also took to Twitter to address Steve’s death, with one fan writing: “RIP DJ Steve Sutherland. Gutted to hear this news. Met him a couple times at Bijou. What a gentleman he was! That Galaxy radio show on a Saturday night was the sickest!”
Another tweeted: “RIP Steve. One of the nicest people you could’ve ever wanted to meet. Stood beside him at his table 2000 MOBOS when the cameras circled him when he won the award. So Humble, gave immensely to the community.
“Supported artists & labels Will be Hugely missed. RIP Steve Sutherland.”
