Australian actress Sarah Snook, 35, revealed she is pregnant with her first child at the star-studded event on Monday. The Succession star showed off her growing baby bump at the show’s season 4 premiere in New York, which she attended with her fellow cast members.
The actress, who plays Shiv Roy in the epic HBO drama, appeared alongside her onscreen siblings Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin, who play Kendall and Roman Roy.
Brian Cox, who plays family patriarch Logan Roy, was also in attendance, as well as Matthew Macfadyen, who plays Shiv’s husband Tom Wambsgans.
Sarah has revealed her exciting news shortly before the release of the show’s fourth and final series on March 26.
The star looked glamorous as ever as she displayed her baby bump in a black jumpsuit and floor-length, shimmering silver cardigan.
Succession follows the dysfunctional Roy family and other key players as they fight to take over patriarch Logan Roy’s media empire.
Sarah teased that she would not be taking any guidance from her ruthless fictional family, but said she felt “great” about the prospect of motherhood.
The star explained to US publication Extra that she had brought along “someone I have not met, but am intimate with”.
Asked if she had learned anything about parenthood from Succession, she quipped: “What not to do.”
“I don’t think the Roy family are a paragon of family values, I don’t think we can really be looking to them for guidance.”
The star later told Entertainment Tonight that the news was “exciting” and added: “I feel great.”
Sarah married Australian comedian Dave Lawson back in 2021 after reports of them dating the previous year.
Dave regularly performs on the stand-up comedy circuit and has also worked in radio and television.

Succession fans are on the edge of their seats for the show’s final season after the season four trailer was released earlier this month.
Following another huge hurdle for the Roy siblings – and another betrayal from within the family – it is not yet clear what their father Logan’s eventual game plan will be.
In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Sarah explained how she was dismayed to discover Succession was coming to an end when she attended the table read for the final episode.
“I was very upset,” she recalled. “I felt a huge sense of loss, disappointment and sadness.
“It would have been nice to know at the beginning of the season, but I also understand not being told until the end because there was still a potential that maybe this wasn’t going to be the end.”
She went on to admit that it was ultimately a good thing for the show to go out on a high, which was a sentiment echoed by her co-stars.
“Emotionally, all of us weren’t necessarily ready to be done with the show because we love each other so much,” she said.
“But everything has to come to an end, and it’s smart not to let something become a parody of itself.”
