Susan Boyle, 59, has revealed she has got her Covid jab while smiling for cameras after her trip to the vaccine centre in West Lothian, near her home.
The singer, who rose to fame after her memorable first audition on Britain’s Got Talent, turns 60 on April 1.
Susan thanked the NHS and the “science” behind the vaccine as she admitted that getting the jab has helped her to feel more positive amid the pandemic.
She said: “Monday felt for the first time like there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
Susan went on to urge her fans to get the vaccine too, while disputing misinformation surrounding the jab.
She added: “There is so much disinformation surrounding the vaccine but I encourage you to go out and get the vaccine when it’s available to you.
“I am grateful for science and grateful for medicine and especially grateful to the wonderful NHS nurses and doctors, thank you,” the star told The Sun.
Susan became a global sensation after she stunned Simon Cowell with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream on Britain’s Got Talent.
