Theo James Talks Getting "Completely Naked" in 'The White Lotus' Season 2

The White Lotus season two premieres on HBO this Sunday (October 30), and you can expect Theo James to get naked. A lot. Which isn’t exactly anything new for the actor, who also had plenty of nude scenes in Time Traveller’s Wife and Sanditon.

Theo plays Cameron Babcock in the upcoming season, a rich business man on vacation with his wife Daphne (played by Meghann Fahy) and some friends. And apparently he gets fully nude almost right away.

“It is in my contract that I’m not allowed to do anything without being completely naked,” he joked to Entertainment Tonight, saying of The White Lotus scene “It’s interesting, at first… we don’t know whether it’s deliberate or it’s accidental. But it reveals itself.”

And apparently what actually made the final cut was pretty different than what they filmed. “The initial version we shot was way too much. So, we did a more subtle version,” Theo said. “They toned it [down].” He added that “It’s funny ’cause we’re all kind of naked. It’s a holiday show, really.”

Truly can’t wait for this season, which takes place in Sicily and has a huge cast including Aubrey Plaza, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Meghann Fahy, Adam DiMarco, Tom Hollander, Will Sharpe, Haley Lu Richardson, and, of course, Jennifer Coolidge (who won an Emmy for her instantly iconic work in season one).
