Tom Parker asks fans to light candle and pray for him amid cancer treatment

Tom Parker called on his legion of loyal fans to light a candle and pray for him on Thursday 2 February as the date was a "supreme number".

The 33 year old was diagnosed with grade four glioblastoma in October 2020, exclusively telling OK! at the time that it was "the worst case scenario".

Since then, he's gone through 30 rounds of chemotherapy and another 30 of radiotherapy. Thankfully, the treatment has been working.

Now, The Wanted star has taken to his Instagram to ask for support from his 268,000 followers amid his treatment as he shared a snap of himself looking lovingly at his wife Kelsey, 31, before sharing: "Calling all my amazing followers [11 stars emojis] I would love for you all to get involved tonight and light a candle and say a prayer for me."

"It’s a new moon and supreme number 02.02.22 [stars emoji] it’s a powerful day to manifest with the universe. So let’s all heal together. At 6pm I would love everyone to light a candle and say this out loud.

"“I let go of what no longer serves me for the highest good and in divine order. all that I am and all that I will ever be! May I be strong May my body return to health and completely free from dis-ease.

"I call on angels, guides and ancestors to help support Me in this healing journey and please awaken my heart and mind to give me the power, strength and healing that I need on this journey to complete health," with a praying hands emoji.

Continuing the speech, Tom, who recently unveiled his plans to expand his brood, shared: "May my family be adorned with the love and strength that they need to enable them to support me too.

"I am supporting myself with love and light! And surrounding myself with joy and positivity. Thank you," followed by a second praying hands emoji.
