adidas Originals Heads to Barcelona for Latest City Series Release

adidas Originals has continued its European tour, following up Köln and München-themed releases for the latest City Series installment. For the new release, adidas Originals has looked to Barcelona, recreating an archival sneaker that first arrived back in the ’80s.

The sneaker is dressed in a clean colorway, with a white leather upper offset by off-white suede overlays and hits of “Royal Blue” on the side stripes, tongue and heel branding. Finishing off the design is gold foil branding, representing the city on the site and the “City Series MMXX” inside the collar. This upper all sits atop a thick, off-white midsole inspired by the 1970s Trimm Trab silhouette.
