A FOODIE has revealed how to make scrumptious chocolate croissants using air fryer – and it takes less than ten minutes.

As much as we love croissants, they can be pretty messy to make, especially if you want to prepare the dough yourself.

But according to one food fan, TikTok user Ashlea (@ashleas_kitchen), you can whip up fresh batch with just two ingredients and the star of the show – air fryer.

The foodie took to TikTok to share the recipe – and it's so easy, you have to try it.

''If you love a chocolate croissant, you're going to absolutely love these – they were delicious,'' Ashlea claimed in the video.

For the homemade pastries, you will need a pack of Just-rol Croissants dough and chocolate eggs – Ashlea was raving about new treats she had nabbed from Morrisons earlier, called Puds.

''They got a truffle filling with chopped hazelnuts, some rice crisps in the centre – they just sounded so nice.''

The steps are easy – all the foodie did was cut up the pastry in triangle shapes, put the chocolate inside and use the dough to make it into a ball.

Once she had made all the DIY croissants, Ashlea went over with a bit of egg wash on top and popped them in the air fryer at 180C for eight minutes.

''Just look how they came out. They were mouth-watering.

And if you don't manage to finish them all at once, fear not – Ashlea insisted that the croissants were just as tasty when cold.
