I got a Ted Baker bag for 50p in the charity shop – it was mangled & dirty but I got it back to near perfect, here’s how | The Sun
A WOMAN who nabbed a mangled, dirty Ted Baker bag for just 50p in her local charity shop has shown the quick and easy way she restored it to a near-perfect condition.
Francesca is known for her bargain-hunting skills, and frequently takes to TikTok to share her incredible buys.
And in her latest video, she demonstrated her method for fixing up the pale pink tote bag.
"I saw this misshapen, hard plastic Ted Baker bag for 50p and I thought, 'No, I'm going to bring it back to life'," she began.
"I am adamant I can bring it back to life."
After packing out the bag with jumpers until she got it to a shape she was happy with, she turned on her hairdryer, and aimed the hot air at the hard plastic.

"I've heated up these little bits here which has made the plastic so much more flexible, so I can shape it back rather than it being all distorted," she explained.
"I'm just trying to smooth it out, and not burn my hands."
Once the shape was where she wanted it, Francesca took to the bag with some nail polish remover – tackling the marks that were on the front of the accessory.
"It's now empty and look at that, I've cleaned it up. The shape is really good.
