I wore black undies under my sheer white Zara dress, I still felt naked but I think I have a solution | The Sun
A FASHION expert was feeling a little too exposed in her sheer Zara dress so she found a way to fix the problem without sacrificing style.
Even with black undergarments underneath, she wasn't loving the look.
"Let's style a sheer dress," said Kim Brannigan (@styledbykimkj).
She was determined to feel more covered – and confident – in the frock.
"I don't want to feel so naked underneath and just wear black underwear so I did stockings, these little black shorts, and a black bra," she explained.
Still, she felt like she needed some additional layers.
"I still feel naked and wouldn't leave my house like this," she explained.
She decided to add a black leather jacket to the still very see-through dress featuring spaghetti straps.
Said Kim: "I love leather and lace together."
The fashionista even belted the jacket to give a more cropped look – and give the appearance of having a waist.

Kim wasn't convinced that this was the best she could do, so she moved on to a long black blazer.
And she didn't mind showing some of the sheer look underneath.
"I don't hate having it open like this," she shared.
Kim then seemed to have a revelation about how to best slay the revealing look.
This time around, she added a cream blazer and matching boots.
"I don't know why I was so fixated on doing black, I think the creams look so much better together."
This follower had her own stying suggestion: "I think white would look better? Maybe a white slip?"
"Oh this would be fun – it gives bridal vibes so a white slip would be cute for a bridal event," agreed Kim.
Most of the fashionista's fans were also digging this dress look.
"The switch from black to cream was so good," said one enthused viewer.
"Agreed! the black was too harsh underneath," replied Kim.
