A CLEANING whizz has shared the easy way to dry your bulky washing without a tumble dryer.
Ann Russell revealed her top tips to drying towels and bedding in the cold weather will keeping your energy bills down.
Taking to social media, Ann answered one worried woman's question on how to dry bulky items in the winter without a tumble dryer or letting them dry outside.
In the clip, the cleaning pro said: "Get your airing rack, which you've got and what you want is indoor wind."
Instead of piling your towels up – Ann said it was better to wash them little and often.
Once the washing cycle is finished, putting them on an extra spin will make sure there is no excess moisture left.

Ann said your best bet is hanging them directly onto your radiator if you can – otherwise hang your towels and bedding on coat hangers and hang them off of door frames.
You can then turn on a fan, not a heater and crank open the windows to allow the air to move through the house and dry your clothes.
Opening the windows will allow any of the damp air to move out of the house.
The cleaning whizz also recommended using a dehumidifier if you have one as this will speed up the process – but it isn't necessary.
