In Hae Lee, Eugene Baek

In Hae Lee and Eugene Baek were married June 24 at the Redeemer Presbyterian Church West Side in Manhattan. The Rev. Bijan Mirtolooi, a Presbyterian minister, performed the ceremony. On Aug. 23, Mr. Mirtolooi, will lead the couple in a second ceremony where they will exchange vows at the Brooklyn Winery in Brooklyn.

Dr. Lee, 30, is a postdoctoral fellow studying developmental genetics at Rockefeller University in Manhattan. She graduated cum laude from the University of Washington, Seattle, and received a Ph.D. in biological sciences with a concentration in developmental genetics from Rockefeller University.

She is the daughter of Ok Mi Kim and Ui Won Lee of Auburn, Wash.

Mr. Baek, 32, is a vice president for legal and compliance at the Blackstone Group, a private equity and financial services firm in Manhattan. He graduated from Wesleyan University and received a law degree from Columbia.

He is a son of Heakyung Baek and Hanyoung Baek of Fort Lee, N.J.

The couple met in 2014 at the Manhattan Cornerstone Presbyterian Church.
