NEW York Fashion Week may be drawing to a close but the action is still in full swing on day seven.

From Madonna’s daughter Lourdes threatening to reveal more than she intended in a precarious shell bralet, to the unmissable runways of the day, here's everything you need to know about the latest action at the bi-annual fashion affair.

What the shell

Lourdes Leon, 21, stole the show at the Gypsy Sport Spring Summer 2019 showcase, where she made sure all eyes were on her in a bra-style top that only just covered her assets.

The tiny garment was made of chains and had two shells protecting her modesty. She paired it with some extremely tattered jeans that were slashed below the knee.

Madonna’s girl has been making waves in the fashion world and recently scooped a modelling job for Stella McCartney.

As she strutted her stuff on the Gypsy Sport catwalk, Lourdes proudly showed off her female body hair with unshaved legs.

Lourdes is known for being passionate about championing the natural female body, and has previously flaunted visible underarm hair in a moody fashion campaign for Converse.

Walk the line

With some of the fashion industry's greatest heavyweights within its ranks, the SS19 Oscar De La Renta show was the one to attend.

The designer bagged sister models-of-the-moment Gigi and Bella Hadid, who both stormed the runway watched by a whole host of A-listers on the front row.

Oscar de la Renta is typically known for red carpet-worthy gowns, but the Spring collection featured outfits with a more casual and modern twist.

The brand is embracing a new era following the death of its founder in 2014 and Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, who have been working there for 12 years, are steering it into its next phase.

We saw mini dresses, patterned pant suits and patchwork dresses, along with a few ball gowns thrown in to pay homage to the brand’s signature style.

And the front row was stacked with the likes of Nicki Minaj, who also brought her mum, Amber Heard, Sofia Richie, Kate Beckinsale, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Nicky Hilton Rothschild.

Talk about bringing out the big guns.

Coach Queen

Brand ambassador and collaborator Selena Gomez  took centre stage at the Coach fashion show and hung out with some very famous celeb pals.

Selena looked sensational in a metallic gold collared mini dress with a long neck bow and sheer black sleeves.

The star, who has been with the line since 2017, accessorised with red velvet sandals and a sleek ponytail.

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams was on hand to watch the likes of model Kaia Gerber rocking the runway in a burgundy jacket, and long, prairie-style black skirt, inspired by Sante Fe and Georgia O'Keeffe.

Paris perfection

Who says wings are just for Victoria’s Secret shows?

The Namilia show at Gallery II at Spring Studios pulled out all the stops with none other than Paris Hilton strutting her stuff in eye-catching red wings.

The show-stopping look was only made even more dramatic when the Hilton superstar turned around and revealed red trousers that fell very low indeed around her hips.

Calvin Klein's Jaws-dropping event

Where better place to take fashion inspiration from than a 1975 summer blockbuster horror flick?

This is exactly what Calvin Klein did for their NYFW show, which centred on the cult classic Jaws.

When it came to setting the scene, the designer went all out, with a video backdrop featuring bobbing boats, waves and even the odd swimmer.

Of course, the ominous theme tune had to be played as models walked in clothes emblazoned with the Jaw imagery.

The Graduate movie was also woven into the show, with Cindy Crawford's 17-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber wearing a blazer and black mortar board.

Front row heavy weights included actor Rami Malek, Kate Bosworth, Naomi Campbell, Saoirse Ronan and Jake Gyllenhaal, to name a few.
