Mum shares genius hack for making reusable water bombs so you don’t have bits of balloon all over the garden | The Sun

FROM the paddling pool to water hose fights, there's endless ways to keep kids entertained during the heatwave.

But one savvy mum has come up with a unique idea that's sure to prove a hit – DIY reusable water bombs.

The TikTok user, who posts under the acronym @thesciencebooth, often shares videos to help parents confidently carry out science at home with their children.

In this particular clip, she's seen with a couple of packets of sponge wipes from Tesco.

She then cuts each sponge into several strips, before picking up five and securing them in place with an elastic band.

Finally, she dunks them into a bowl of cold water and throws it at the garden fence to demonstrate just how well they work.
