Queen Camilla dons £787 blue shirt dress and sentimental jewellery in London
Queen Camilla opted for a smart dress today as she joined members of a research team at a specialist laboratory in London.
The royal stayed true to her signature style for the occasion, wearing a cobalt blue linen shirt dress by Samantha Sung.
Advertised as the “Patricia Shirtdress”, the garment features an a-line pleated skirt, three-quarter length sleeves, a removable belt, and side seam pockets.
Though it appears to be a simple design, the dress flatters the royal’s figure and complexion.
Teamed with what appeared to be her new favourite shoes and her sentimental gold-plated necklace, Camilla looked at ease as she layered the £787 dress with a white laboratory coat.

The dress had a fuller skirt than those that the Queen Consort usually wears, though the smart shirt cut was true to her trademark fashion.
Camilla paired the bold printed dress with a pair of cleated pumps by one of her favourite designers, Eliot Zed.
Known as the “Gladys” suede pumps (£275), the low heels are made with a rubber sole and suede body in a light beige shade.
Just days ago, the Queen Consort stepped out in a very similar outfit when she visited Poundbury, Dorset.
