B&M is selling £30 cube shelves for £1 – how to find a bargain
B&M is selling a cube shelving unit for £1 and shoppers are going wild for it.
The piece of Lokken furniture has been slashed down from £30, meaning customers save £29 or a whopping 96 per cent.
It comes complete with one door and two drawers to keep your belongings safe, along with two empty shelves to decorate.
One happy shopper who managed to nab the Lokken shelves for £1 said it was the “bargain of my year” in a post on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
She also shared her receipt, showing four of the shelving units which came to £4 in total.
Replying to her post, one fellow shopper said: “Wish we could find these bargains.”
Another added: “Well done this is what you call a bargain.”
And someone else said: “Gutted non of ours at a low price.”
When we spoke to B&M, they said the discount is not nationwide meaning they cannot guarantee you’ll find £1 furniture in every store.
They added it’s highly likely the store where this one was found is ex-display stock or the manager has reduced it to make room for new items.
How do you find a bargain at B&M? Everything you need to know about the app
SAVVY shoppers are using an app to find better discounts in stores.
Here's how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:
- Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
- Once you've installed it on your device, click on the option labelled "more" on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
- You'll then find an option that says "barcode scanner". Click on this and you'll open a camera screen.
- Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
- If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
- You don't need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.
To avoid disappointment, call your local B&M before making the journey to check their price.
B&M has 600 stores in the UK and you can find your nearest one by using the online store finder.

This isn't the only B&M bargain we've seen lately.
This week we've seen B&M reduce the price of its solid pine coffee table from £80 to £10.
The Sun has also seen how one woman managed to find a bubble mood light lamp for just 10p.
While another person bought a children’s police car play set, also for 10p.
