The nation is now coming to the end of our second lockdown of the year.
Although we may have been cocooned in our homes for near to a month, it is unlikely that we will all be emerging like a beautiful butterfly.
The salons and hairdressers have been closed, as have the gyms, and really we’ve all had bigger things to worry about than beautifying ourselves.

However, in the run up to Christmas, despite the absence of the festive party gauntlet, we still might want to try and look our best for Jesus’ birthday.
And it seems that it will be possible, as the Prime Minister is due to announce that, as of 3 December, hairdresser, nail salons and beauty services will be reopening.

The Sun has reported that all manor of beauty treatments, even including facials, will be available from next Thursday.
There had previously been some speculation that this would not be the case and contact services would have to be shut in the top tiers over fears that people would travel to other tiers for appointments.
However, this might not be the case.
Venues will have to be cleaned frequently to enable them to be Covid-secure, and both customers and staff will have to wear visors and face masks.
People will have to check in before their treatments using the NHS app, or give the company their details in case of a coronavirus outbreak.
However, if you are planning on enhancing your pretty, you better be quick as many place will be appointment-only to reduce the number of people in a venue at any one time.

It is also understood that Christmas may be able to go ahead with relative normality.
It is expected that it will be announced that up to three households will be able have Christmas dinner together, subject to final agreement.
These “festive bubbles” may also be able to head out to have turkey in a restaurant, providing they do not mingle with other households.
