Here’s the quirkiest 2020 presidential merch you can buy
It’s beginning to look a lot like … 2020.
With less than two months to go until the Iowa caucuses, presidential-candidate merchandise will make the perfect holiday gift for the politics junkies in your life.
Look no further than the candidates’ official Web sites, where there are heaps of clever, silly and downright bizarre election items available — from a mug mocking the 1 percent to President Trump needling Hunter Biden with a shirt.
Here, The Post picks out the best gifts being sold by the presidential hopefuls.
Donald Trump
Trump wants you to feel good — and look bad — in his campaign’s ugly Christmas sweater. Name-dropping the president, the website says: “Don this custom knit sweater featuring the Keep America Great! slogan to get in a festive mood for all your Christmas events.“
Pete Buttigieg
At 37 years old, Mayor Pete’s the youngest candidate in the Democratic field. So, appropriately, he’s hawking a baby onesie that says ”Cute Edge Edge,” a play on the pronunciation of his last name. The description says, “Will the little one’s first words be “Pete,” “Buttigieg” or “I want to vote”?”
Andrew Yang
Well, at least he’s self-aware. The 44-year-old entrepreneur — who prides himself on being a cool Gen X-er — is selling a “Longer Than Long Shot” shot glass as a nod to his slim chances of winning the Democratic nomination.
Elizabeth Warren
The progressive Democrat’s “Billionaire Tears” mug comes at a price only a billionaire could love — $28. “Savor a warm, slightly salty beverage of your choice in this union-made mug as you contemplate all the good a wealth tax could do: universal childcare, student debt cancellation, universal free college, and more,” the description reads.
Joe Biden
On the heels of the former vice president’s “No Malarkey” tour comes Biden’s “Beat Him Like A Drum” T-shirt. Too bad some polls have him trailing Trump by 4 points nationwide.
Bernie Sanders
This deck of playing cards featuring illustrations of Sanders and Trump is designed by Sir Tom Foolery. “Show everyone that ‘Bernie Beats Trump,’” the website says. You can just picture Sanders and AOC gathering around the table on Christmas morning to enjoy a game of Crazy Eights.
