I named baby after my favourite Disney films – but family turned noses up
It's safe to say that most people loved watching Disney movies in their childhood – and some adults never grew out of that.
Especially this Disney-mad mum who named who daughter after characters from Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King – despite objection from her friends and family.
Becky Roberts, 28, can't remember a time where she didn't love the classic animations of princesses and talking animals.

Wanting to pass down her adoration for the movies, the mum even started a DVD collection for her child before she was even born.
However, her family soon "turned their noses up" after Becky decided to give her tot a Disney-themed moniker.
The mum named her daughter Kiara – after the big cat princess heir of Pride Rock from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.
But, that is not the only Disney influence on Kiara's name. She chose 'Rose' to be her middle name – a nod to the enchanted flower from her second-favourite film, Beauty and the Beast.
Now seven years on, Becky still has no regrets about Kiara Rose's name.
"While I was pregnant, I started a collection of Disney DVDs for my daughter to have on her shelf," the mum explained.
"When I was buying the DVDs, I started watching one a day while her dad was out working. After watching The Lion King II, I remembered my dad buying me a stuffed Kiara toy at the Heathrow Disney store when I was little.
"Her dad and I both fell in love with the name – I Googled it and found out it was similar to the Irish name 'Ciara'.
"But I wanted to spell it in the same way as Kiara from the movie."
The Disney super fan added: "When she was born, we gave her a stuffed Kiara toy we found in America, as well as a toy rose from Beauty and the Beast.
"She loves the movies now too!"
Although Becky and her then-partner "fell in love" with the cartoon inspired name, not everyone was on board with it.
Kiara Rose's mum admitted: "A lot of people, like my family, turned their noses up at it and kept saying things like 'what sort of a name is that?'"
"No one really liked it apart from me and my partner.
"We knew it was going to be an unusual name from the start because people were quite shocked.
"The only other 'person' I've met called Kiara was actually a dog."
Once her parents got over the initial 'shock', they soon came to love the name after bonding with their then newborn grandchild.
"They finally agree it's an amazing name and it really suits her," Becky said.
Unfortunately for Becky, upon moving house, she lose the majority of the huge DVD collection. But that means she has a lot of making up to do.
"She has loads of Disney toys and clothes – and she loves Disney+," she said.
"In March, we'll even be taking her to the Disney store in London so she can spend all of her birthday money."
Recently, Love Island star and influencer Molly-Mae Hague gave birth to a little girl and also chose a Disney-esque name. Along with partner and fellow Lover Island star Tommy Fury, the couple chose the name Bambi.
The name is a girls name that has Italian origin and is short for "bambino", which translates as child.
The shortened version is most famous for being the title of the classic 1942 Disney hit produced by Walt Disney and inspired by the book Bambi, a Life in the Woods by Felix Salten.
