I worry my boyfriend is secretly having an affair with his male best friend

DEAR DEIDRE: I WORRY my boyfriend is secretly gay and using me as a cover.

He’s always been close with his best friend.

They have long phone calls daily and my partner regularly stays the night at his for “a catch-up”.

Initially I thought this was a good thing.

If he treats his mate like that, it could only mean good things for us. He’s 34, I’m 32.

But now my gut says they are more than friends.

Even in lockdown, my partner would insist on going to stay the night and he always has his phone close by, as if he’s hiding something.
