Inside pregnant Lindsay Lohans intimate baby shower with friends and family
Afterannouncing that she was expecting her first child with husband Bader Shammas last month, it’s clear that the parenting prep is under full swing forLindsay Lohan.
In the latest pregnancy update, 36 year old Lindsay has revealed that her friends and family organised a stunning baby shower for her as she prepares to become a mum for the first time.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the Mean Girls and Freaky Friday star shared a series of snaps on her Stories which showed her celebrating the milestone occasion with some of her nearest and dearest.
In one snap, which was originally posted on her friend Juliet Angus’ account, the Hollywood star could be seen beaming and she posed for a picture.
As the pair smiled for the selfie, social media sensation Juliet gushed over her pal and wrote: “Flew into town to shower my gorgeous preggers bestie and glowing mama-to-be Lindsay Lohan.”
For the occasion, Lindsay wore her long hair in loose waves and opted for a white blouse which featured an abstract print.
Meanwhile in another snap which she reposted from her sister Aliana’s account, Lindsay looked chic as she celebrated her baby shower with her siblings.
As she joined her sister in a restaurant, The Parent Trap actress looked stylish as she wore her hair in a relaxed updo and sported a sage green and white crochet polo shirt.
Lindsay’s intimate baby shower comes just weeks after she announced the happy news that she and her husband were expecting their first child.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Lindsay posted a snap of a white baby girl which read “coming soon” alongside the caption: “We are blessed and excited”.
Lindsay and husbandBader tied the knot in July 2022 after getting engaged in November 2021.
While Lindsay is known for starring in multiple blockbusters, and having recently returned to acting following the holiday film Falling For Christmas, less is known about Bader as the couple tend to keep their relationship outside of the spotlight.
However, it is known that 36 year oldBader is a financier and currently works as the Assistant Vice President at banking firm Credit Suisse.
Gushing over her husband during an interview withGood Morning America, Lindsay told the breakfast hosts that being married was something “amazing”.
The star also added that she was “really lucky” to have found someone like Badar and that they were a “great team” together.
