Jennifer Aniston sings this Sondheim tune on ‘The Morning Show’

Can Jennifer Aniston sing? You be the judge.

In a clip from the fifth episode of “The Morning Show” streaming Friday on Apple TV+, she gives it a shot while playing morning TV host Alex Levy.

Aniston’s character is cajoled into a duet with shady network exec Cory Ellison (Billy Crudup, 55), who apparently has a fondness for the song “Not While I’m Around” from the Stephen Sondheim musical “Sweeney Todd.”

She gamely jumps into the lyrics, which potentially play into her working relationship with Ellison (Does he have her back?):

“Others can desert you / Not to worry, whistle I’ll be there / Demons’ll charm you with a smile for a while,” Aniston, 50, warbles in the full clip on TVLine.

Not everyone is convinced she’s hitting the right notes, as one viewer declared on Twitter that he “never asked to hear Jennifer Aniston sing.”

Ouch.

Did Aniston reach a bit too high, possibly faltering with a slight crack on the line “Nothing can harm you, not while I’m around”? Perhaps only “American Idol” alum Randy Jackson can really judge whether she’s a bit, as he says, “pitchy.”

“The Morning Show” also stars Reese Witherspoon — who actually can sing, and maybe even dance — as Levy’s new colleague, Bradley Jackson.
