Kate Middleton Dressed Like the Royal Version of a Study Abroad Student in Ireland
Nothing says “I’m in Ireland and damn proud of it” like head-to-toe green.
Kate Middleton made an unsubtle return to the country on Tuesday in a patterned high-neck lime Alessandra Rich dress (think: the J. Lo Versace Grammys dress, if J. Lo had to answer to the Queen of England), a forest green Catherine Walker coat, a Kelly green suede clutch, a deep green pair of pumps, and a velvet headband (Blair Waldorf’s shaking).
Prince William played the game, too (you could say he was the Ed Sheeran to her Beyoncé), and accessorized his navy suit with a deep green tie.
Even outside of Ireland’s borders, Middleton has been a recent proponent of head-to-toe green. Just last week she paired green culottes and a matching top during a sporty royal engagement in London.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge began their three-day trip in Dublin, and will continue on to County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway.
