Kristin Cavallari ‘happy’ to be back at work amid Jay Cutler divorce
Kristin Cavallari is back at work.
On Tuesday, the Uncommon James founder, 33, posted a selfie from her Nashville office, weeks after announcing her divorce from husband Jay Cutler.
“SO happy to be back in the office!!!” Cavallari captioned the post, tagging her jewelry, apparel and home goods line.
Uncommon James was prominently featured on Cavallari’s E! series, “Very Cavallari.” Earlier this month, Cavallari confirmed the show would end after three seasons.
“As I start this new chapter in my life, I have decided not to continue with ‘Very Cavallari,’” Cavallari posted to Instagram.
“I’ve absolutely loved my time filming and am so grateful to E! Entertainment for making this journey possible. To the fans: I can’t thank you enough for all your support and for keeping up with me all of these years. I love you guys,” she continued.
In April, Cavallari and Cutler revealed that they planned to divorce after seven years of marriage. The former couple — who share sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 6, and 4-year-old daughter Saylor — issued joint statements on Instagram that read: “This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”
A source previously told Page Six that Cavallari was “growing increasingly impatient” with Cutler, 37, and his career.
“He was supposed to take this big job at Fox Sports and have a life after football that would get him up off the couch and do something,” the source said. “Instead, he backed out — this is [three] years ago — and joined the [Miami] Dolphins. That didn’t pan out well, and he was left with no TV gig until she got the show for them.”
Though Cavallari’s future is still unwritten, her former “Hills” castmates are ready to welcome her back to Los Angeles with open arms.
Cavallari appeared on MTV’s “The Hills” for two seasons.
