McDonald’s Makeover: See Inside the Stunning New Times Square Flagship

McDonald’s just got a makeover! The world’s most recognizable fast-food chain unveiled its newly revamped Times Square flagship restaurant in New York City on Thursday, May 30, and its safe to say the locale takes the Golden Arches to a whole new level.

Located in the heart of Times Square at 1528 Broadway, the restaurant is expected to be among the busiest McDonald’s in the nation. The outpost is also emblematic of what the chain calls its “experience of the future transformation,” which aims to bring new experiences both inside and outside the restaurant.

The Times Square location, which is a whopping 11,199 square feet, is designed to capture the energy of one of the most dynamic places in the world, complete with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, two vertical food transport systems, 18 digital ordering kiosks, and the third largest billboard in Times Square. It also boasts “Guest Experience Leaders” and table service, mobile order and pay via the McDonald’s app and McDelivery with Uber Eats.

As if that wasn’t enough to get people in the door, the revamped restaurant will also give customers a chance to taste items from the Worldwide Favorites Menu for a limited time, starting June 5. International offerings include a Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherland’s and Australia’s Cheesy Bacon Fries.
