Mum divides internet with Chinese takeaway hack to plate up food for her family
A TikTok user has split the internet with how she plates up her Chinese takeaways for her family.
The clip shows the mum placing all the dishes onto one communal tray.
Starting from the left, she plays a portion of chips in a line.
The mum continues by adding some ribs, noodles, sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice, prawn balls as well as some salt and pepper fried chicken.
With space on the tray seemingly used up, she drizzles some sauce over her food then adds spring rolls and prawn crackers.
The video has since exploded online after being shared by @mummy_gascoigne – racking up more than 800,000 views in a matter of days.
Some called the sharing hack the “best idea” and “class”.
“Thank you for this brilliant amazing thing you have created,” one viewer wrote in the comments section.
But others weren’t so sure, with several questioning putting the food straight onto a tray without plates.
One baffled user said: “My anxiety just couldn’t let me eat off a tray, no idea why.”
Another critic said: “If it’s for several people is it not better to put it on separate plates? Imagine the mess when they try to take anything of that bundle of mess.”
Other viewers were more worried about all the food mixing together.
“I was with you until you started mixing all the sauces,” someone else said. “Needs to be separate or it’s just wrong.”
And another agreed, simply adding: “IT’S ALL TOUCHING.”
