My alcoholic daughter meets random men for sex and I’m worried for her child – The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE:I AM so worried for my little granddaughter that I’ve offered to let her live with me but my daughter refuses.

The child is just three but when I go there I find her in a room by herself, while my daughter, who’s 26, is in bed with a hangover.

Even when she’s sober, she spends all her time on her phone.

I have my granddaughter with me as much as I can but my daughter threatens me with violence and takes her back home to spite me.

She sleeps with men she meets online and now she is pregnant again.

She’s had more than one abortion and drinks all the time.

I have tried to get help for her but she refuses it all. I’m 48 and I’m at my wits’ end.

DEIDRE SAYS: I am not surprised. Her problems are putting your grand-daughter at serious risk.

It is urgent that you get informed advice about the best way to protect your granddaughter and get your daughter the help that she needs before things get worse.
