Next opening hours: Can Next reopen tomorrow?
As a result of the coronavirus lockdown, clothing and homeware retailer Next closed its doors to the public. Next was one of many retailers in the UK to have closed at the end of March. However, following the Government’s advice that non-essential stores will soon be able to reopen, customers are wondering when they will be able to shop in Next stores again.
This month Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced some UK lockdown measures will start to be eased over the coming weeks and months.
During the lockdown, only essential stores such as supermarkets have been allowed to remain open, with strict social distancing rules in place.
From next week the Government is encouraging parents to send most children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 back to school.
From June 1 outdoor markets and car showrooms will also be able to reopen.

- Which councils are NOT opening schools?
With non-essential stores allowed to reopen in the UK from June 15, an announcement from Next on when stores will reopen should be expected in due course.
Next are currently still taking orders via their online site.
However Next is limiting the number of purchases the company can process through the site each day.
Next explains on their website: “We are limiting the number of warehouse colleagues working at any time so that we can operate our warehouse safely at this time.
“This means we will limit the number of customer orders we can take each day.
“We will open each day, and stop taking orders for that day once we hit the daily limit, until the following morning when we will re-open again.
“After the daily limit has been reached, you will still be able to browse (but not purchase) on the website.
“You will be able to add products to your favourites wish list.”
