Police investigate death of teenage boy in Taylors Lakes

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a teenage boy at Taylors Lakes on Monday evening.

Police and paramedics were called to Chichester Drive, Taylors Lakes, about 6.55pm after a teenager was found injured in the street.

The boy, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Investigators believe the boy may have been struck by a car. Two other boys were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and the investigation is ongoing,” a Victoria Police statement said.
