Royal Fans Obsess Over Kate Middleton and Prince William's Adorable Photo Together

Prince William and Kate Middleton have always been the apple of the public’s eye. When it comes to royals, William and Kate are essentially the public’s favorite pair. They’ve had a much easier time than, say, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have when it comes to gaining the public’s support. And fans never let the Cambridges forget how much they are loved.

William and Kate recently posted an adorable photo together to their Instagram account, and fans quickly obsessed over the couple’s natural chemistry.

Kate Middleton had an easy transition into royal life

When William and Kate first started dating, there was nodoubt in the public’s mind that she was perfect for him. However, QueenElizabeth was reportedly concernedabout Kate’s work ethic and whether she’d be a good fit for a future king.Eventually, though, Kate won the queen’s support entirely, and the two wed. Andfrom the moment Kate officially stepped into the royal spotlight, she was anatural.

The public instantly loved her, and since the couple’s wedding in 2011, Kate has had one of the highest public approval ratings among any of the royals.

People have long said they can’t wait for William and Kate to rule

The public loves the two so much that they seem to want them to take over instead of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. Charles is next in line for the throne, and Camilla will become queen consort when he gets there. But the public has never fully accepted Charles and Camilla, since they were tied to the infamous affair that tore apart Charles’ marriage with the late Princess Diana.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a special performance of Dear Evan Hansen @dehwestend, held in aid of The Royal Foundation. William has said that he’s not thinking about becoming king just yet. The two have three young children together, and they’re very focused on making a positive public impact while also raising their family.

Fans adored a recent photo of the couple

William and Kate recently posted a photo to their Instagram account while on a trip to Ireland, and it was a rare glimpse of the two truly enjoying each other’s company (though they seem to have a strong relationship, William and Kate tend to keep a very professional tone on social media and during public engagements). They were laughing together in the image, and fans jumped at the opportunity to share their love for the couple in the comments section.

“So lovely to see you standing close to each other,” one user commented. “Oh my gosh!! I’ve been waiting for this photo,” someone else said of the picture’s rarity. “Gorgeous, natural picture,” another user added. “Totally lovin’ the first photo; so much love,” a fan wrote.

William and Kate have always had an easier time with thepublic than Harry and Meghan have. Harry and Meghan struggled in the spotlight,and it was mostly due to the tabloids’ treatment of the Duchess of Sussex. Tothe public, William and Kate can do no wrong, though the same can’t be said forthe Sussexes. Now that Harry and Meghan willbe private citizens, though, things might change in their relationship withcommoners.
